Goal setting – An overrated activity?
Goal setting has been going on directly or indirectly since the dawn of time. Every living creature that has a purpose in life has some kind of goal(s). Your entire existence is lived pursuing one goal after the other. First, you want to grow up. Then you want to have your own car, girlfriend, etc. You then end up in University, after which you get a job, and then you get married. Next thing you know, you want a child…..and the cycle starts all over again. Get the point?
The quality of the goals you set play will play a huge role in the success or failure that you will experience. That is why your goals must be SMART.
You must be specific. The more precise you are about the desired objective, the greater your chances of actually attaining this.

4. I want to write a book! That’s great! What kind of book do you want to write? When do you want to do it? What action steps are you going to take to get the ball rolling?
